TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit – North Carolina

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement. Patient ratios of 4:1 at grid, with stretch to 5:1 as needed. Day and night shift opportunities available.

Highlights:

• Progressive care unit specializing in neurology and trauma patient populations
• 44-bed unit utilizing Cerner EMR system
• Comprehensive patient care including chest tube management, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumbar drains, and feeding tube placement
• Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurses, CNAs, and unit coordinators
• Experience with advanced equipment including IV pumps, Skylift, patient lifts, and tracheostomy care
• Opportunity to perform neuro and spinal assessments, C-collar placement, TLSO braces, and blood transfusions

Requirements:

• Current North Carolina RN license or compact state license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)
• Neurology and trauma care experience (required)
• Ability to float to stepdown and medical-surgical units as needed
• Team-oriented with strong patient-focused care approach
